|Art Ensley graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelors’ degree in Mineral Land Management. He held various land and business development positions with BP Exploration and related entities (Sohio Petroleum Company, Standard Oil Production Company, Tex/Con Oil & Gas) for 11 years. After leaving BP in 1991, Art and his wife Linda formed Ensley Properties, Inc. (EPI). Art was employed by Cody Energy, Inc. as Vice President of Acquisitions and Land. Through EPI, and as an employee of Cody, Art was a principal contributor to numerous transactions resulting in Cody’s asset foundation. Since the formation of EPI, Art has acted as the principal advisor for EPI clients in producing properties, acreage, drilling prospects and mid-stream asset transactions. He resides in Houston, Texas.
|Linda Ensley has been an independent contractor serving a variety of clients from majors to small independents for her entire 31-year career. Services have included land support for exploration and development projects, asset financing, acquisitions, divestitures, product marketing and landowner/investor relations, administration projects and special projects. Since forming Ensley Properties, Inc., Linda’s primary focus has been managing project teams for acquisition and divestiture due diligence, asset assimilation, title review, field support, administration support, imaging projects and land department personnel support. This effort utilizes both in-house and field resources to reach the client’s goals. Linda’s extensive client base and broad experience are valuable assets to our clients and Ensley Properties, Inc. Linda is a 1979 graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
|Larry Latch is a 1984 graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now The University of Louisiana at Lafayette) with a degree in Petroleum Land Management. Upon graduation, he spent the next four years working as an independent landman servicing clients in a number of areas including title research, lease acquisition, title curative and due diligence in Texas, Louisiana and Ohio. He later joined the Houston based acquisitions and divestment firm of Randall & Dewey, Inc. where he spent fifteen years in various roles including Manager of Administration & Contracts. During his years with RDI, his experience included managing data room operations, contract negotiations and business development activities. After leaving Randall & Dewey/Jefferies in 2008, he joined EPI as a contract landman. In 2011, Larry assumed the role of Manager of Client Relations, and was later promoted to his current position - Vice President of Operations.
|Barry Boening graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a degree in Agricultural Economics. After graduation, he worked for Halliburton Energy Services and then as an independent landman. Before coming to EPI, Barry worked five years for EBR Energy, LP as their Land Manager. His responsibilities there ranged from day-to-day Lessor and partner relations, to coordinating leasing and surface negotiations, to analyzing title and divisions of interest and managing sale and acquisition due diligence. Barry joined EPI in 2014 as their Business Development Manager and will be managing client relations, business marketing, contractor recruitment and project management.
|Carrie West graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Psychology. She comes to EPI with over ten years of accounting experience. She began her career in the construction industry working for a custom home builder and then a large commercial builder. She is excited to bring her knowledge and expertise to the oil and gas field as the Account Manager.
